Lake Norman Yacht Club (LNYC) is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Lake Norman, NC. Situated on 27 acres, this club has a very fun, family atmosphere for those who enjoy sailing and sailboat racing. Ever since the facility opened, their mission was – and still is – to promote boating in a very educational way so that families and members of the club can enjoy these water-based activities. LNYC is known nationally for administering and conducting well-managed races, and has won many awards. The club hosts several boat race competitions each year, and they are open to all sailors. They offer a Junior Program, for ages 8-18, to participate in their sailing camp. The club offers a wide array of amenities and activities to its families and club members, and can accommodate them with services that they expect. Their site has several boating docks, 2 ramps, over 30 slips, and a 2-ton boat hoist providing their fleets the ability to host invitational boat races. This yacht club also has a club house where members can hang out and enjoy themselves while out of the water.

Peninsula Yacht Club offers members of their club the best in dining and boating opportunities – in a casual yet classy atmosphere. The yacht club provides a family-style pool that is great for every member of the family; the finest marina with 405 slips, lengths ranging from 25-45 feet. Each slip is supplied with water and electricity hook ups, a locker, while some of their larger slips have wiring for cable, Wi-Fi, telephone, fuel dock, and shower facilities. They have an avant-garde club house that features a dining room, lounge, and a spacious deck.
Outrigger Yacht Club supports sailboat racing competition for sailors or anyone who enjoys sailing. Club members also gather for social activities that OYC organizes so that members can get together and enjoy each other’s company.
