A Lake Norman dinner cruise is a great way to enjoy beautiful scenery and a restaurant quality meal at the same time. These cruises typically include dinner that is served buffet style or with a set menu.
Lake Norman is known for its extravagant houses and beautiful landscape. A Lake Norman dinner cruise is a great way to check out this scenery if you don’t have a boat of your own. There are several boating companies that host dinner cruises on this North Carolina lake, each a little bit different so you’re sure to find one that fits your needs.
Queen’s Landing, a lakeside business, offers two types of Lake Norman dinner cruise options on two different boats. One boat, the Catawba is a Mississippi River paddle boat. This cruise option is offered seven nights a week and features chicken, salmon, prime rib and vegetarian lasagna as meal choices. The other boat, Lady of the Lake, is a yacht that stretches 90 feet. Dinner cruises on this boat are offered five nights a week. The Lady of the Lake cruise features the same meal choices as the Catawba, but pork loin, filet and lobster are added to the menu. The Lady of the Lake also has an all-you-can-eat buffet on Thursdays and unlimited pizza on Wednesdays. Both of these boats feature a cash bar. You must make a reservation if you would like to embark on a Lake Norman dinner cruise from Queen’s Landing.
If you’re looking for a more romantic experience, Lake Norman Yacht Charters is the way to go. Here you’ll board a 40-foot yacht for two hours. The boat offers dinner cruises for two or four people and features a private waiter for each table. Your meal consists of three courses, appetizer, entrée and dessert with coffee. In addition to this, you can have wine or champagne with your meal. The dinner is served on the aft deck, if the weather permits. If not, it is served in the cabin dining area. This boat can also accommodate up to 26 people for a private dinner party, if you would rather host a large group. These cruises all depart from Peninsula Yacht Club.
The final cruise option is Yachta Yachta Yachta, which hosts dinner cruises all year long. This 67-foot, two-story yacht will lodge from two to 100 guests. You can rent out the entire boat for a romantic evening for two, or host a large dinner party. This dinner cruise can offer you whatever food you wish to eat. This cruise departs from the Peninsula Yacht Club as well.
With the variety of Lake Norman dinner cruise options offered, you’re sure to find one that is perfect for you.

I recommend Queen’s Landing for refined dining. Lake Norman truly has it all: great food, fishing and golfing facilities and entertainment.
This May I went to the North Carolina Brewer’s & Music Festival and I didn’t have high expectations but I actually had a good time. My favorite was the Sol Driven Train, they had really nice melodies. However, the crowd was at the free beer tasting stations, ha ha. Would definitely come back again soon!
