This Lake Norman camping site is a little further away from the lake but features free Wi-Fi across the grounds. Plus, they have laundry services and a grocery store! There is also a recreational area to have fun and play team sports like volleyball or basketball. Cross Country sports its hiking trails and a playground for the kids.

KOA Campgrounds offer the same amenities as Cross Country but is in a quieter rural area. You can rent a cabin if you’d like and enjoy tiled bathhouses and a game room. Golfers will surely prefer this site as it features its beautiful 18-hole course. Families with pets are also welcome to use their designated pet area.

    If you want to go camping but still experience modern features like wi-fi or post offices and banks, Cross Country Campground will be perfect. We went there two years ago and even my reluctant teenage daughter had a blast. The service was irreproachable and will definitely come back again in the near future.
